Housed in a contemporary and chic store, Legacy is a collector’s dream abode.The rare artifacts include quartz lamps, Sevre vase, Satsuma ware, Bohemian glass, R. lalique, Daum Nancy signed glass, Majolica, cut –glass oil lamp, French clocks and fine Corinthian pillars.
Besides the obvious aesthetic appeal of each objects of art, one gets to glimpse a myriad of cultural anthropology; every object in the display telling a well – documented story. They reveal how their forebears included art and aesthetics in solving practical problems of daily living, as well as their material values and tastes.
The exhibition would also feature hand crafted furniture, designed by Chisel Arts, an initiative by Amitabh Bachhawat. He is a reputed designer of fine hand crafted furniture for a high end global audience. Each piece is made using traditional methods, employing the designs from the past to suit a more modern lifestyle.
