At present all my art-works are closely related to all my interests and aptitudes in life. Right from my childhood, my attention has been drawn more towards different facets of poverty and penury, the darkened faces of those labourers and workers in the rural areas who toil day in and day out, The rural women folk and their strain, and the saints who enlighten the life of common people and so on. These concepts which come out from beneath take specific form in my memory lane. The traditional architecture and the ‘Madhubani’ folk art form from Bihar and the other folk, art forms of my own district play an important role in giving concrete shape to the ideas and thoughts emerging out of my mind.
Specialy I highlight in my work The nature, especially in drawing human forms, animals, birds, plants etc. enables us to communicate our in-depth feelings and minute thoughts. Ultimately all the forms conceived in our mind are attracted towards ‘Shringara Rasa’ defecting the innate joy within.
My media is mainly acrylic, because I thought it is the best media in art to give concrete and exact shape to our experience and feelings. I have been trying to get mastery over this media. I use brush and sponge to bring out the texture effectively. I draw it layer by layer till I get the conceived form.

And in this space you have a wide choice—of exchanging notes, holding debates, checking out the works in our collection. Going beyond the limit of a physical exhibition, a geographical boundary and being in touch—that is the main aim of this forum. This forum will also notify members of upcoming events at Aakriti, while at the same time acting as a virtual exhibition arena to showcase works by members across the world.
