Top sculptors in the World today - Who are your favourites?

I'm writing about sculpture at the moment and wondering who are the top people working in this meidum in India and around the world.

Jeff Koons " Rabbit ” 1986

I like a few of them,my favorites are "Rabbit" by Jeff Koons and among the Indians"Head" by a young upcoming sculptor Subrata Biswas.

There are so many talented sculptors in this world. There is a very famous one,Botero, from Colombia, that I personally think
is one who really created an style and will last for ever . I am showing you what I`ve got, most of them paintings, and you can see at least one of his volumes. If anybody wants to help with files, you are welcome. Thank You.

Hi Marcelino. I looked at your Botero Powerpoint and used the images to make this word document in English. I don't know if you care able to open it and reply but thank you for sharing . I love Botero's work Though he is a painter, I think rather than a sculptor. His fleshy ladies remind me od those by a recently deceased UK artist, who is really popular and also humourous. Although she had sell out exhibitions all the time , She was genrally ignored by the art world as not being really important. I will try to remember her name and post some of her lovely ladies for you.

Don`t find the word document you are saying. About Botero, he is a plastic artist, a really good one. His volumes
are as good as his paintings, but He doesn`t make them himself , I guess. Probably He designs it, and different people make the volumes , depending materials. They are huge and serial, nobody could make that much work alone.There`s no doubts for me,Botero is one of those artists , different generations are going to enjoy for ever.He doesn`t paint fleshy women, He paints ladies his personal style, like Modigliani.Let me know where to find the document. I LIKE MARC QUINN! In India you got guys like Subodh Gupta who makes creative stuff with commodes,
buckets and bedpans.....PRINCEFREAKASSO
